Janet on why there is no mention of Nipplegate or her brother Michael's acquittal on child molestation charges:

It¢s more important for the record company than for me. I just want to bring happiness to people. Of course you want it to be successful, but I really just want to bring a smile to people¢s faces.

The fans get upset and talk about boycotting [MTV]. It is what it is, but I¢m not losing sleep over it. I appreciate the love and support the fans have shown me.

Kylie Minogue won't wear wig
|
|
Kylie Minogue has vowed not to wear a wig on her comeback tour. The 38-year-old singer is set to re-launch her 'Showgirls' tour in Australia in November, after taking a year off to recover from breast cancer. Kylie said she would not wear a wig, despite losing her hair during chemotherapy, because she wants people to see she has changed. The 'I Believe In You' singer told Australia's Melbourne Herald Sun newspaper:
It would seem wrong to create the illusion that I am the way I was before.
I've had such a good response to my short hair and there's not much I can do about that at the moment anyway.
Kylie will change her dance routines to make them less demanding and rest more between shows on her 'Homecoming' tour, which kicks off in Sydney. She admitted:
There are certain things I can't do but I don't think that will make it less of a show.
It's such an important part of recovery to get on and do what you do and be who you are. I'm finally starting to come out of that haze.
The pop princess had to cancel her 'Showgirls' world tour when she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. She was treated in France where she lives with long term boyfriend Olivier Martinez.
